Each year, additional events related to the Austrian School of Economics take place: conferences, seminars, conventions, and summer universities, among many others.
Some of these enjoy particular significance and academic prestige, such as the Madrid Annual Conference on Austrian Economics.
This international academic conference is organized by Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) in close collaboration with Lübeck University. This in-person conference is held at the Vicálvaro campus in Madrid.
Over the course of the two days this academic conference lasts, attendants enjoy several lectures delivered by some of the greatest exponents of the Austrian School of Economics. In addition, various intellectuals, professionals, and specialists present their academic papers written in line with this school of thought and selected beforehand by the Scientific Committee.
The latest major contributions and new lines of research in Austrian Economics on an international level are presented at this conference. It takes place entirely in English and has a markedly international flavor.
Below, you will find the Call for Papers for the next conference, to be held in November 2020, as well as the programs from past years.
